titleOfInvention ET-743 COMBINATION WITH 5-FLUOROURACIL PROCESSES FOR CANCER TREATMENT
abstract The use of ET-743 in combination with a therapeutically effective amount of a 5-fluorouracil prodrug selected from capecitabine or compounds of the formula: wherein each R 1, R 2 and R 3 are independently hydrogen, or a radical that can be easily hydrolyzed under physiological conditions, provided that, at least one of R 1, R 2 or R 3 is a radical that can be easily hydrolyzed under physiological conditions; as well as hydrates or solvates of the compounds of general formula (I); or a compound of formula (II) wherein R 1 is a saturated straight-chain or branched hydrocarbon radical having the number of carbon atoms in the longest straight chain of this hydrocarbon radical in the range of three to seven, or a radical of formula- (CH 2) ny wherein Y is a cyclohexyl radical, C 1 -C 4 alkoxy radical or phenyl radical and wherein, when Y is a cyclohexyl radical, then n is an integer from 0 to 4, and when Y is a C1-C4 alkoxy radical or phenyl radical, then n is an integer from 2 to 4, and R2 is an atom hydrogen or a radical which can be easily hydrolysed under physiological conditions or its hydrates or solvate, for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of the human organism by cancer. The patent contains another 19 patent claims.
