abstract Pharmaceutical compositions of tablets containing 6.0 to 22.0 mg of the active substance sildenafil are provided. The method of manufacturing the pharmaceutical compositions of the tablets described above, with or without the participation of nanoparticles of the active substance, is provided. New uses of these pharmaceutical tablet formulations are provided in special populations of patients who to date are burdened with unnecessary toxic side effects from existing treatments, due to systemic overexposure to the active substance.
