NEW COMPLETELY PRODUCTIONS OF ALKYLAMIDIS OF TEIKOPLANINI. |
abstract |
The present invention relates to novel C63 amide derivatives of teicoplanin wherein the amide radical is produced from a di- or poly-alkylamine and a process for their preparation. The derivatives are prepared by reacting a product similar to teicoplanin with an active ester-forming reagent such as chloroacetonitrile and then by contacting said active ester with the appropriate di- or poly-alkylamine. The amide derivatives of the invention are active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. ω |
