abstract A surface-finish material comprises a mixture of pulverized natural stone and an hydraulic calcarious binder and 5-40 weight per cent of hard roughly spherical water-insoluble grains whose maximum diameter is larger than the largest particle size of the mixture but less than 4 mm. The natural stone may be marble, the binder may be plaster, or white cement with or without lime, and the grains may be quartz.
