abstract A mixture of compounds of formulae: <FORM:0949846/C2/1> and <FORM:0949846/C2/2> is obtained by reacting at elevated temperature an O, O-diethyl phosphorohalidothioate, (C2H5 O)P(S) Hal, in the presence of an N, N-dialkylformamide, specifically dimethylformamide, and a basic substance, specifically sodium bicarbonate, carbonate or hydroxide. An inert solvent may be used. The mixture is insecticidal (see Division A5).ALSO:A pest-combatting agent comprises a mixture of compounds of formul <FORM:0949846/A5-A6/1> and <FORM:0949846/A5-A6/2> (for preparation of the mixture see Division C2). Aqueous emulsions are specified.
