titleOfInvention Pesticidal preparations for the treatment of culture plants and seeds
abstract Pesticidal composition comprises an organo-tin compound of a general formula: <FORM:0946770/A5-A6/1> in which R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 each represent an alkyl radical containing 3 to 8 carbon atoms or a phenyl-, benzyl- or cyclohexyl-radical and X represents oxygen or sulphur, and an inert carrier. Especially favourable are those stannoxanes and stannothiones, respectively, in which at least 3, or preferably even all 6, substituents R1 to R6 are phenyl radicals. The preparations may be in the form of wettable powders, emulsifiable emulsion concentrates, suspensions, emulsions, dusts or sprays, may also contain substances known to have bactericidal, fungicidal or insecticidal activity e.g. copper oxychloride or systemically active compounds. Specified active ingredients are bis-(tributyl-tin) - sulphide, bis - (triphenyl - tin)-oxide, bis - (tri - phenyl - tin) - sulphide, bis-(tribenzyl - tin) - oxide, hexacyclohexyl - distannoxane, hexapropyl - distannoxane, hexaoctyl-distannoxane.ALSO:Seeds, such as those of wheat and sugar-beet, are preserved from attack by fungi and bacteria by treating with a pesticidal composition comprising as the active ingredient an organo-tin compound of the general formula <FORM:0946770/A1-A3/1> in which R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, and R6 each represent an alkyl radical containing 3 to 8 carbon atoms or a phenyl-, benzyl- or cyclohexyl-radical and X represents oxygen or sulphur, and an inert carrier such as talcum, kaolin or chalk. The preparations may be in the form of wettable powders, emulsifiable emulsion concentrates, suspensions, emulsions, dusts or sprays, may also contain substances known to have bactericidal, fungicidal or insecticidal activity, or systemically active compounds. Specified active ingredients are bis-(tri-butyl-tin)-sulphide, bis-(triphenyl-tin)-oxide, bis-(tri-phenyl-tin)-sulphide, bis-(tribenzyl-tin)-oxide, hexacyclohexyl-distannoxane, hexapropyl-distannoxane, hexaoctyl-distannoxane.
