Aliphatic, cycloaliphatic and aromatic dithiophosphonic acid anhydrides (thionophosphine sulphides) which may have the formula <FORM:0889085/IV (b)/1> are prepared by reacting an appropriate thionophosphoric acid dichloride with hydrogen sulphide at about 50 DEG C.-250 DEG C. A solvent may be used such as xylene, tetrahydronaphthalene, decahydronaphthalene or chlorobenzene. The products are stated to have fungicidal properties. In examples, compounds are prepared in which R is CH3, C2H5, i-C3H7, cyclohexyl and phenyl. |
