Class 17(2) A plastic overshoe 10 has a heel 12 in the bottom of which is a plastic cup 15, e.g. of nylon, polyethylene or cellulose acetate butyrate, shaped so as to conform to the internal shape of the heel 12 and having a curved heel retaining wall 119 extending upwardly from the base 16. As shown in Fig. 2, its curvature is somewhat less than that of the rear and side walls 118, 118a which it meets at 23. The region 21 between walls 118, 118a and wall 119 may be filled in.
