abstract | 874,933. Polish-removing pads. MORSE, E. A. April 13, 1960 [April 13, 1959], No. 13268/60. Class 19. A pad for removing nail polish is of absorbent material impregnated with a controlled amount of solvent. As shown, the pads 10 are produced from a continuous mat of creped wadding tissue formed and shaped into a series of double-faced strips 19 ... 23 connected by webs 13 ... 18 located on the central medial plane of the mat ; webs 12 are produced along opposite edges of the mat, the latter being cut into separate individual pads. During or after manufacture the pads are impregnated with a measured amount of solvent such as propylene carbonate. Two pads 10 are superimposed upon each other and enclosed in an air-tight protective envelope 9 of aluminium or fluoro carbon. |
