titleOfInvention Pest combating agents
abstract The invention comprises the products prepared by reacting a trialkyl (e.g. methyl or ethyl) phosphite, with an acetal (especially a hemiacetal) of a halogen-acetaldehyde (e.g. chloral monoethyl acetal, trichloracetal, chloral mono-n-propylacetal, chloral mono-n-butyl acetal), and pest combating preparations containing them (see Group VI).ALSO:Pesticidal composition comprises the reaction product of trialkyl e.g. methyl or ethyl phosphite with an acetal of a halogen-acetaldehyde e.g. chloracetaldehyde, chloralmonoethylacetal, trichloracetal, chloralmono n-propylacetal, chloralmono n-butylacetal together with a liquid or solid diluent. An emulsifying wetting and an adhering agent may also be incorporated.
