Class 9(1) A detonating fuze cord for connection to blasting charges comprises a core 1 of high explosive consisting of 2 to 15 grains per ft. length in a flexible thermoplastic sheath 2 such as polyethylene. The explosives may be the same as those used in Specification 815,532. Alternative sheath materials are rubber, polyvinyl chloride and neoprene. These may be reinforced with a fabric countering countering 3. Wire or other metal reinforcements may be used. |
