titleOfInvention A system for fastening a device, e.g. an instrument, to a panel of a switch board orcontrol board
abstract 777,173. Fastenings. METRA BLANSKO, NARODNI PODNIK. April 29, 1955, No. 12462/55. Class 44. [Also in Group XIX] A device, e.g. an instrument is fastened to a panel by a clamp which has a threaded lug in which is a screw, and adapted to bear against an abutment on the device and against the panel to press the panel against a flange on the device. As shown in Figs. 1, 2, 3 and 4, the fastening consists of a plate a, b having a lug c threaded to take a screw d. The instrument 1 has a slot A, Fig. 2, into which the plate a, b fits, or the seat may be replaced by an abutment B1, Fig. 1, the edge a of the fastening extending into the gap between the panel 3, Fig. 1, and the instrument 1 so that the panel 3 is gripped between the flange of the instrument and the screw d. In modifications, the fastening may be adapted to fit on chamfered corners of the instrument (Figs. 5, 6, and 7, not shown), or may be curved to fit instruments of circular cross-section (Figs. 8, 9 and 10, not shown). In a further modification, the fastening may have a downwardly extending lug b, Fig. 12, adapted to fit into any one of the indentations A, Fig. 11, in the instrument 1.
