abstract | 770,794. Electric coils. AUTOMATIC TELEPHONE & ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. Nov. 9, 1955 [Feb. 8, 1955], No. 3664/55. Class 35] An electric coil wound on a metal core 2 between insulating or insulated side-cheeks 4 is shielded from contact with the core by a wrapping of insulation 1 which has previously been formed with crinkles or undulations, so that the coil pressure causes it to expand axially and overlap the cheeks as at 6. The insulation may be cellulose-acetate and it may be secured by adhesive or solvent at the outer end 3. |
