A ceramic composition comprises, in per cent by weight, titania 34-45; zirconia 40-27; baria 7-5.5; zinc oxide 4-3.4; tin oxide above 10-not more than 15; and aluminium silicate 12-8. An organic binder is added to help in shaping, and the mix may be pre-baked before final sintering to regulate shrinkage. |
