abstract | 661,248. Cosmetic. LANOLIN PLUS COSMETICS, Inc. July 27, 1949, No. 19687/49. Class 81 (i). A fluid stable homogeneous cosmetic solution comprises from 15 to 50 per cent by weight of lanolin in isopropyl palmitate. 2 per cent waxes such as spermaceti or cetyl alcohol and 10 to 15 per cent of refined mineral oil may be added. In one example, 35 parts of lanolin are dissolved in 65 parts of isopropyl palmitate and in the other are dissolved in 53 parts of isopropyl palmitate, 10 parts of mineral oil and 2 parts of cetyl alcohol. The lanolin and waxes are dissolved at 50‹ C. the solution cooled to 45‹ C. the mineral oil added and the product rapidly cooled to 30‹ C. |
