abstract Spinnerets are moulded from thermoplastic or thermosetting synthetic resin (see Group V). Suitable materials are heat-polymerizable monomers such as methyl methacrylate or styrene, or thermosetting compositions capable of forming cross-linked resins and a solution of a catalyst therefor in a polymerizing solvent, e.g. a liquid composition comprising dimethyl acrylic ester of bis-(b -hydroxy ethyl)-phthalate, benzoyl peroxide and butyl methacrylate.
