abstract | 647,328. Teapots. HOLTER, S. Nov. 2, 1948, No. 28452. [Class 129] [Also in Group XVII] A combined tea and water pot comprises a teapot 2 pivotally supended at 3 in a vessel 1, intended to contain water, and so arranged that tea can first be poured from the teapot and then water from the water vessel. To pour tea. the arm 4 is pushed with a finger so that the teapot remains in the position shown relative to the vessel 1. After the desired quantity of tea has been poured, the arm 4 is released to allow the teapot to swing back to a vertical position so that water only is poured. The cover 5 has a slot to allow movement of the arm 4 and is so shaped at the front that the teapot spout 2<1> can move away from the spout 1<1> of the vessel 1. |
