abstract | In a modification of the process described and claimed in the parent Specification use is made as aldehyde of glyoxal or furfuraldehyde or a mixture thereof. Samples have been furnished under Sect. 2 (5) of (1) a product obtained by condensing furfuraldehyde in presence of diethyl sulphate with a condensation product from phenol and the ethyl ether of cardanol; (2) a product obtained by condensing furfuraldehyde in presence of ammonia with a condensation product from phenol and the ethyl ether of allyl phenol; (3) and (4) products similar to (2), glyoxal being employed as the aldehyde. |
