titleOfInvention Improvements in or relating to herbicidal compositions
abstract A herbicidal composition is obtained by milling a chlorophenoxyacetic acid with a dispersing agent, with or without the additon of a water-soluble diluent and preferably to a particle size of less than 2 microns. The specified acids are 2, 4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, 2- or 4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid and 2, 4, 5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid. "Goulac" (Registered Trade Mark), i.e., dried sulphite cellulose waste, or the sodium sulphonate of the condensation product of formaldehyde and naphthalene known as "Leukanol" (Registered Trade Mark) may be used as dispersing agents.
