Divided out of 560,569 under which a Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Aug. 22, 1942. Drawings to Specification. [Class 46] A method of dewatering yeast suspension consists in feeding the suspension into a rotating filter chamber, to which gas or air is supplied separately under pressure, so that it adheres to the inner surface and the liquid is expelled by the gas or air pressure, scraping off the filtered yeast and discharging it from the chamber. The apparatus described for carrying out the method is identical with that described in Specification 560,569. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 560,569.
