[Class 70] Abrasive articles are' made by bonding an abrasive material such as diamonds with tin containing a metallic alloying agent which hardens the tin, e.g. copper, antimony, zinc, or magnesium or a combination of any two or more of these metals. When low diamond concentrations are used, other abrasives such as silicon carbide, boron carbide, fused alumina, garnet or quartz may be added. Specification 295,879, [Class 70], is referred to. |
