[Class 2 (ii)] Coloured filaments, foils and the like are obtained from viscose which has been prepared by causing carbon disulphide to act on alkali cellulose in the presence of such dyestuffs as contain one or more free hydroxyl groups. Suitable dyestuffs are (1) Naphthol AS # Fast red 3GL base ; (2) Naphthol AS-E # Variamine blue salt FG ; (3) Naphthol AS-SG # Fast red B base ; (4) Diazo brilliant green 3G ; (5) Alizarine fast blue BHG; (6) Diamond. black PV ; (7) Immedial pure blue ; (8) Sudan blue G and (9) Sudan red 3R.
