titleOfInvention Improvements in or relating to the manufacture of gelatine
abstract In the treatment of gelatine-forming raw materials, e.g osseine, with a lime suspension, a small proportion of a primary or secondary amine is added to the suspension in order to reduce the duration of the treatment. A small proportion of an alkaline earth metal halide may also be added.
