[Class 18] The rim 18 of the lid of a box for dentifrice, &c. is formed with a number of inward projections 20 adapted to engage loosely in a continuous or interrupted groove 12 provided in the base portion, the wall of which is of such form that the upper edge is out of contact with the lid. The rim is formed with a rib 19 to assist handling and may be slotted to facilitate application to the box. Lid and body portions may each be formed from a disc of aluminium, &c., and the body may be provided with ribs 15 for preventing rotation of the cake of dentifrice. |
