abstract A remedy for the treatment of distemper and hysteria in dogs consists of a mixture of linseed oil, olive oil, flowers of sulphur, oil of turpentine and oil of tar. The olive oil and flowers of sulphur are first heated together and then added to the other ingredients. The remedy is applied by rubbing on the nose of the dog.
