titleOfInvention | Process for the manufacture of polyazo dyestuffs |
abstract | 313,562. Chemische Fabrik vorm. Sandoz. June 14, 1928, [Convention date]. Samples furnished. Azo dyes are made by coupling a tetrazotized diaryldiamine (1 mol.) with H acid (1 mol.) in acid solution and combining in alkaline solution the intermediate product with a monodiazo compound (1 mol.) and a N-alkyl-, aryl- or aralkylm-aminophenol (1 mol.). They dye mixed wool and viscose goods in level and equal black shades. In an example, the diazo compound of the product aniline # H acid # benzidine is coupled with N-(o-tolyl)-m-aminophenol. The aniline may be replaced by the toluidines or chloranilines, the benzidine by tolidine, and the end component by N-monoethyl-N-diethyl, and N-(p-tolyl)-maminophenol. |
