abstract 308,661. I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges. March 24, 1928, [Convention date]. Fumigants.-Insecticides, suitable for destroying grain weevils and green fly, consist of ethylene oxide in admixture with carbon tetrachloride or other substances serving to reduce inflammability. A very low concentration of the vapour is stated to be effective. The use of carbon tetrachloride, carbon - disulphide, and ethylene chloride as insecticides is referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) refers also to mixtures of ethylene oxide with other insecticides, solvents, or irritants. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
