titleOfInvention Improvements in pneumatic fluid elevating devices
abstract 305,142. Wade, R. H. S. Jan. 31, 1928, [Convention date]. Direct air-pressure apparatus, non-automatic. -Water flows to a submerged tank 3 through a float valve 10 and is discharged through a pipe 19 by compressed air supplied by a hand air pump 14. The valve 10 comprises a rubber cone attached to a float 9 for cut off, the water flowing in through a perforated cylindrical tube 7. The valve is partly balanced by a spring 21 which can adjust the water level. A pressure release cock 17 allows self drainage of pipe 19 during frost. The gasket 5 makes an airtight joint.
