titleOfInvention | Process for the manufacture of organo-metallic compounds |
abstract | 304,731. Carpmael, A., (Schering Kahlbaum Akt.-Ges.). Jan. 24, 1929. [A Specification was laid' open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Jan. 26, 1929]. Albumens.-Metal organic compounds are prepared by subjecting haemine to the action of reducing agents such as hydrosulphite of cystein, combining the resulting complex fervous compound with bases such as nicotine, arginine, or histamine, and finally adsorbing the product on organic or inorganic carriers, e.g. starch, animal charcoal and silica gel. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) also describes the treatment generally of compounds of haemoglobins with heavy metals of two or more stages of oxidation, e.g. iron compounds of the porphyrine series, or synthetic substances of analogous constitution. The use of a carrier is stated to be optional and the products are described as having therapeutic application. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. |
