titleOfInvention | Process for the manufacture of monoazo dyestuffs |
abstract | 301,423. I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.-. Ges. Nov. 29, 1927, [Convention date]. Monoazo dyes are made by combining a non- nitrated o-diazophenol sulphonic acid or a halogen derivative thereof with 2-naphthylamine-3-carboxylic acid. When chromed on the fibre green shades are obtained. In an example, diazotized 4 - chloro-2-amino-phenol - 6 - sulphonic acid is coupled with 2-naphthylamine-3-carboxylic acid in the presence of pyridine and the ammonium salt prepared. |
