titleOfInvention | The manufacture of new complex bodies containing mercury |
abstract | 292,245. Carpmael, W., (I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.-Ges.). March 16, 1927. Disinfectants; vermin-destroying compositions. -The water-soluble organo-mercury compounds prepared by treating an aqueous solution of a salt of an aromatic aminosulphonic acid with a soluble mercury salt are useful as disinfectants. Their solubility is increased by the addition of sodium chloride, sodium bromide, and the like. When employed for combating pests, it is advantageous to add materials which increase their adhesiveness or wetting properties, e.g. dextrin. Examples are given. |
