abstract 272,742. Black, H. Oct. 14, 1926. Syringes.-The needle 6 of a hypodermic syringe is formed with a head 7 engaging a recess 8 in a needle-holder 5 and adapted to be pressed fluid-tightly against a detachable cap 4 on the barrel 1 when the holder is screwed, as at 2, to the barrel. The cap 4 is formed with spherical surface engaging a corresponding surface 9 on the holder 5 and is provided with a tin or other washer 4<a>. The plunger 10 of the syringe is packed by a washer of wedge section and a screw-threaded gland.
