abstract A patient interface assembly 100, such as an oxygen delivery mask 102, comprising a patient interface, a connector 104 for connecting the patient interface or mask body 108 to a conduit 106, the conduit being joined to the connector. The patient interface (12, fig.2) comprises a first connection formation and the connector 104 comprises a second connection formation, the first connection formation comprising a recess (28, fig.2) or slot 112 for receiving at least a portion of the second connection formation, wherein the recess extends in a direction which requires insertion of the second connection formation into the recess in a direction which is substantially orthogonal to a longitudinal axis of the conduit 106. The patient interface and the connector being connectable such that, in a connected configuration, the first connection formation and the second connection formation are engageable with each other, with a snap fit, to provide a non-releasable connection.
