A hookah device 202 comprises: a plurality of ultrasonic mist generator devices each having a mist outlet port; a driver device electrically connected to and configured to activate each of the mist generator devices; and a hookah attachment arrangement configured to attach the hookah device 202 to a hookah 246, the arrangement having a hookah outlet port providing a fluid flow path from the mist outlet ports of the mist generator devices and out of the hookah device 202 such that mist generated by each activated mist generator device flows along the fluid flow path and out of the hookah device 202 to the hookah 246. Each mist generator device may comprise a liquid chamber, a sonication chamber, a capillary element and an ultrasonic transducer. The driver device may control each mist generator device to activate independently, and/or in a predetermined sequence. The hookah device 202 may comprise four mist generator devices releasably coupled to the hookah device 202 at 90 degrees relative to one another. The driver device may comprise an AC driver and an active power monitoring arrangement, to provide a monitoring signal indicative of active power used by the transducer. |
