abstract |
A gearwheel transmission 1, e.g. for medical devices or robotic machine, has a high transmission ratio and improved efficiency and/or increased capacity for transmitting torque. The transmission 1 comprises a first stage 2 having a first stage input shaft 5 and a second stage 3 having a second stage output shaft 20. The second stage 3 comprises a second stage fixed ring wheel 28, a second stage rotatable ring wheel 30 and second stage compound planetary gearwheels 24 wherein execution parameters of some gearwheels have parameter values PV which are different, such that efficiency increases towards the first stage input shaft 5 and capacity for transmitting torque increases towards the second stage output shaft 20. An intermediate planet carrier 21 is rotatably mounted in housing 17 and is separated from the input shaft 5 and output shaft 20. One or more first stage output elements 37 is/are fixedly interconnected with one or more second stage input elements 39 according to several cases. For example, output elements 37 may be fixedly connected to planet carrier 21. |
