titleOfInvention Device
abstract A neck and shoulder protection device comprises a back strip 100 with a first and a second end (102, 104, fig. 2(a)), and a respective arcuate arm 108 extending from each of said first and second ends. The back strip has padding of a thickness of between 30 mm and 50 mm, and the arcuate arms have padded sections of a thickness between 15 mm and 50 mm. The arms preferably extend upwardly and over the shoulders of the user and then curve over to extend in a second direction opposite the first direction. The device affords protection to the user when they are resting against a sink while having their hair washed in a salon. It restricts the space available for the head to flex into the sink so preventing the adoption of damaging positions.
