titleOfInvention Improvements in or relating to translation
abstract A translation platform comprises a translation engine operable to translate an input text into an output text in a target language and an interface operable to receive the input text in a source language and to provide the output text in the target language. The translation engine is further operable to translate the output text in the target language into a reference text in the source language and wherein a comparison engine is operable to compare the input text to the reference text, identify differences between the input text and the reference text and output an indication thereof to the interface. The interface of the translation platform may be operable to receive input text from user actuatable means. The interface of the translation platform may be operable to wait until an activation signal is input before passing the text to the translation engine. The words or phrases in the input text that correspond to the differences may be identified as causing difficulties in translation and then stored in a data store.
