A cosmetic agent for the temporary shaping of keratinic fibres comprises potato starch from about 0.1 to about 50% by weight, based on the total weight of the agent. Preferably the potato starch is present at from about 1 to 20% by weight, based on the total weight of the agent, and is modified, such as gelatinized, or alkaline modified. A preferred embodiment may comprise chitosan (about 0.3% wt.), lactic acid, (about 0.75% wt.), gelatinized potato starch (about 3.0% wt.), sodium hydroxide (about 0.25% wt.), glycerol (about 0.2% wt.), cocoamidopropylbetaine (about 0.3% wt.), PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil (about 0.2% wt.), sodium benzoate (about 0.3% wt.), water (about 89.7% wt.), and propellant (about 5.0% wt.). At least one other natural starch may be present. |
