| abstract |
An insert is provided to fit within the cup holder of a car or automobile. A mobile phone or smart phone may be placed directly in the insert Figure 1a or located in a secondary insert to suit a specific model of phone. The insert(s) may be provided with connectors A, B, C, to charge the battery of the phone via a USB port, see also Figure 5. The insert may be provided with a lid having a clip, Figure 2a that may be released by a key of the vehicle, Figures 2b and 3. The phone may be contained in the insert with the lid securely closed to prevent use of the phone whilst the vehicle is being driven. |
