An agent for oxidative hair dyeing, containing from about 78-about 95 wt.% water, at least one oxidation dye precursor, at least one alkalizing agents (e.g. base), from about 0.1-about 2 wt.% non-ionic tenside, from about 0.05-about 2 wt.% of a cross-linked copolymer from acryl acid and non-ethoxylated esters of acrylic acid having linear C10-C30-monoalcohols, and xanthan gum, wherein from 0-3 wt.% linear saturated alkanols with two or three hydroxy groups and from 2 to 8 carbon atoms are contained in the alkyl group are present. Further, the composition comprises no saturated or unsaturated non--alkoxylated alkanols with a hydroxy group and from 1 to about 50 carbon atoms in the alk(en)yl group, no saturated or unsaturated alkanecarboxylic acids with from 1 to about 50 carbon atoms and no oxidants. Composition is less viscous than standard two-part oxidative dye compositions. A kit of parts is also claimed wherein the kit contains; the agent for oxidative hair dying and, separately, an oxidant preparation. |
