abstract The present invention relates to a process for the recycling of a waste material (e.g. waste paint or a by-product formed in the process of producing paint) and the uses for the resulting recycled composition. The process comprises the steps of drying a waste material recovered from a paint production process and processing the waste material into a particulate form. The recycled composition of the present invention is beneficial to the paint and carpet industries, and can be used in carpets, e.g. carpet adhesives or carpet backings, or paints.
