titleOfInvention | The manufacture of solutions containing organic phosphorus and complex gold compounds |
abstract | 253,946. Cassella & Co., Ges., L., June 22, 1925, [Convention date]. Hypodermic injections.-A preparation for. hypodermic injection which can be sterilized without decomposition is made by mixing goldsodium thiosulphate, free sodium thiosulphate, and a salt of a p-dialkylaminoaryl phosphinous acid and water. The preparation of the phosphinous salts is described in Specification 214,836, [Class 1 (iii), Oxides &c., Metallic]. In an example 100 grs. gold-sodium thiosulphate and 50 grs. sodium thiosulphate are dissolved in 5 litres of water and the solution is mixed with 50 grs. of the sodium salt of p-dimethylamino tolyl phosphinous acid, the mixture being sterilized by, a current of steam. It is stated that the proportions may be varied within wide limits. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) contains an example in which 100 grs. gold-sodium thiosulphate are mixed with 50 grs. of the sodium salt of p-dimethylamino-tolyl phosphinous acid and 30 grs. sodium thiosulphate and the mixture is dissolved in 20 litres of water, filtered, introduced into ampoules, and sterilized at 100‹ C. for 30 minutes in a current of steam. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. |
