abstract 252,213. Sarnighausen, F. May 18, 1925, [Convention date]. Plastic compositions containing glycerine, sugar, &c.-A puncture proofing composition is obtained by mixing bran glycerine and raw sugar at raised temperatures to dissolve the sugar, and adding to the mixture before cooling a concentrated solution of tartaric acid equal to about 8 per cent of the total mixture, and a mixture of pulverized colophony, copal, gum-arabic, and dextrine in an amount equal to about 40 per cent of the bran glycerine and raw sugar mixture. In an example the mixture comprises 300 gr. bran, 40 gr. glycerine, 150 gr. raw sugar, 50 gr. tartaric acid, 80 gr. colophony, 50 gr, copal, 40 gr. gum arabic, 40 gr. dextrine.
