titleOfInvention Organic Electroluminescent Device containing Fluorinated Compounds
abstract Organic electronic device comprising a layer 24 comprising a first organic material adjacent to a layer 23 comprising a second organic material, in which the first organic material has a fluorinated first organic compound with one or more fluorene residues and is soluble in a first solvent but insoluble in a second solvent, and the second organic material is soluble in the second solvent but insoluble in the first solvent. Also discloses is an organic device as above where the first layer 24 is soluble in a fluorinated solvent and second layer 23 comprises a second organic compound which is insoluble to a fluorinated solvent. Further disclosed is a solution for forming a conducting or semiconducting layer of an organic electronic device, the solution comprising a fluorinated solvent and a solute comprising a fluorinated first organic compound having one or more fluorene residues. Further disclosed is an electronic transport material comprising a fluorinated organic compound comprising one or more fluorene residues. Further disclosed is an electroluminescent device comprising a fluorinated electron transport layer adjacent a non-fluorinated emitter layer. Also disclosed is an electroluminescent emitting material comprising a fluorinated organic compound having one or more fluorene residues.
