abstract |
The present invention relates to the calibration and control of dopant levels in an ion mobility spectrometer wherein control is carried out via actuators and more preferably piezoelectric actuators. An interface device is described suitable for connecting an injector/actuator to a spectrometer and transporting ejected droplets to the reaction region of the spectrometer. The interface comprises one or more gas management systems, a heating source, a liner, a block interface, and an ultra-torr seal/union. |
