A microfluidic device comprises a microfluidic channel having an inlet, an outlet and a at least one (or preferably two) micro-corrugated surface(s) wherein at least one surface of said channel comprises at least one capture moiety (e.g. anti-EpCAM antibody) that selectively captures a cell a sample. The device may be transparent such that it is suitable for use with a microscope or spectrometer. Devices and methods for detecting, enriching, and analyzing circulating tumor cells and other particles based on the size, shape or properties of the cells to be detected. Further methods for the diagnosis of cancer are disclosed. |
