A process for producing micronized dispersed microparticles and to microparticles produced by this process comprising forming microparticles from a matrix material which is solid at 21 °C and an active dispersed in said matrix, dispersing the microparticles in a liquid and then exposing the dispersion to high shear forces to reduce the size of the particles. The matrix material is preferably a wax like material. |
