titleOfInvention Cell culture device with sensor element
abstract A cell culture device is disclosed comprising a disposable culture vessel comprising a casing having at least one external wall made of a material having a Young modulus E of less than 50 GPa, in which there is situated at least one cell culture zone 5 defined by walls and at least one cell free medium transfer zone, allowing a flow of a culture medium between the cell culture zone and the transfer zone, and at least one sensor element 11 at least partly situated in the cell culture zone 5 of said vessel and not In direct contact with the casing of said vessel, wherein said cell culture device further comprises means for absorbing displacements of said at least one external wall so that a displacements of said external wall are decoupled to displacements of said sensor element. The present Invention further relates to a method of culturing cells.
