abstract |
A personal lubricant composition comprising a coolant which is a cyclic carboxamide, and is preferably substantially free or completely free from menthol. The preferred cyclic carboxamide is N-ethyl -p-menthane -3- carboxamide (WS-3). The coolant has several advantages over menthol such as reduction in irritability and volatility, no minty smell and no bitter taste. |
