The nozzle has carries slurry through channel 18, which mixes with other fluids carried in channels 16 and 20. The nozzle may find application in supplying a coal slurry feedstock to a gasification reactor, with the ceramic insert 32, providing increased wear resistance and lifespan of the nozzle.
